ABOUT CARMEN FORTUIN

My passion for design was inspired from watching my mother make clothes for my sisters and I when we were growing up. Becoming a finalist in the Young Designers Award while still at college served to confirm my career choice in fashion. I studied fashion and design at the Design School now run by Massey University. After graduating I worked for the well known and highly regarded company Ashley Fogel from 1997 - 1999.

Carmen Fortuin Bridal was established in 2000 and over the years has grown from strength to strength.

All wedding gowns are made to measure and evolve through the fitting process. The designs would be best described as effortlessly simple, classic, and elegant with lots of attention to detail.

I appreciate that your wedding day is special and one of the most glamorous days of your life. It is a great honour for me to be part of the process. I will focus on developing a friendly and professional relationship with you to create your dream dress. Turning the dream dress into a reality is done by expertly expanding on your ideas to create a gown that perfectly reflects your personality and style.
